After going through the article, it can be concluded that Lombardi was a perfectionist who chased perfection because, as per him, excellence can be achieved]only through perfection. In my opinion, it is indeed true that an individual needs to be perfect in the work they take or do. But not in every business. This leadership style can be attained but can be worked upon. After reading the article, there are two sectors where I can find his leadership strategy will work. It would be in the sports sector when sports people need to be perfect to achieve the goal. He valued each member of his team since he was a coach, and the performance of one team member can cause a major disaster for the team. So, the team member would bear the pain and used to start their practice. In the corporate world, the pain is more of a mental nature than physical, which changes the whole scenario. His lesson can be attainable in every sector. “Envision a successful future ? then chart a course to get there. Communicate your vision with passion and conviction.
