Computerized assessment systems give the possibility to individualize the career exploration process and provide opportunities to personalize individual career search strategies.  Computer-assisted career guidance systems provide straightforward, systematic career exploration and career decision programs that can be accessed anytime.  Computerized assessment systems make access possible to large databases of up-to-date information for local, state, national, and international locations. The service availability to remote areas, cost-effectiveness, and rapid turnaround for assessment are some considerable advantages. Cons: The use of computers in career counseling primarily raises concerns about confidentiality. The fear is that electronic data storage systems are more likely to be faced with confidentiality abuse rather than with traditional approaches.
