Answer Below:

The Bully by Richard Dean Kise The story "The Bully" has an introspective and sympathetic tone. The story is centered around the role reversal between Roger and Tony. It highlights the situational irony between the characters and the themes of the unexpected ways of life may turn, and forgiveness is rooted in the story.  The Story of An Hour by Kate Chopin (1894) In "The Story of An Hour," the tone is mainly gloomy and spirited, highlighting Mrs. Mallard's emotional state as she grapples with her husband's death. There is a shift of emotion when she realizes she is living a life on her own. The irony of the story is remarkable as the sorrow turns into excitement with the idea of independence. However, when she acknowledges her husband walking alive, her only hope of independence gets crushed.  The Sniper by Liam O'Flaherty (1897-1984) The tone of the story"The Sniper" is chaotic and tense, demonstrating the dark reality of civil war. The story depicts the city, which is engulfed in darkness. Irony runs throughout the story, as the Republican sniper discovers the death of his own brother by his own hands.
