1. Consider your approach to working inclusively and building positive working relationships with others. As a people professional, I consider working inclusively and building positive relationships with others to be fundamental. I actively strive to create an environment where diversity is valued and everybody feels included and respected. Here are a few critical aspects of my approach (Strunk & Strich, 2023). Open Communication- I encourage open and legitimate communication with colleagues and team individuals. Active listening and creating a safe space for people to offer their viewpoints and concerns are essential to building positive relationships (Solberg et al., 2020). Respect for Differences- I recognize and respect individuals' perspectives and backgrounds. I actively look to understand and learn from these differences as they contribute to a more prosperous and innovative workplace. Promoting Inclusivity- I proactively guarantee Inclusivity in team activities and decision-making processes. This includes involving team individuals from various backgrounds and perspectives in discussions and ventures. Conflict Resolution- When conflicts arise, I approach them with empathy and the goal of finding mutually beneficial solutions. Conflicts, when handled constructively, can lead to more grounded relationships. Continuous Learning: I understand that working inclusively is an ongoing process.
