About Us Take My Online Class

Question.1210 - Part 1:  Conduct an online search for an article that reports research findings of correlation between two factors or variables.  Provide the title of the article and the complete URL link.  Identify the authors/researchers.  Explain the correlation as it is presented in the article.  Then, provide 3 questions you would like to ask the researchers or author (if given the opportunity) about the findings.  Are you skeptical at all about the findings? Why?  Do you need more information or clarity in order to ‘accept’ the findings as valid? Part 2: Conduct an online search for an article that reports research findings of causation between two factors or variables.  Provide the title of the article and the complete URL link.  Identify the researchers/authors.  Explain the causation as it is presented in the article.  Then, provide 3 questions you would like to ask the researchers or author (if given the opportunity) about the findings.  Are you skeptical at all about the findings? Why?  Do you need more information or clarity in order to ‘accept’ the findings as valid?

Answer Below:

Part 1: The article I have selected is titled " Study Suggests Correlation Between Heart Rate and Optimism." Andrew Soergeland wrote the article, and Rosalba Hernandez was the lead author. In this article, the study has proved that when optimistic, individuals with various cardiovascular health issues have better blood pressure and other cardiovascular health compared to those who have been pessimistic about their health conditions. Researchers have found that optimists are twice to score strongly in terms of cardiovascular health (Study Suggests Correlation Between Heart Health and Optimism). About the findings, I would like to ask the authors three questions :  How does being optimistic reduce the probability of suffering from cardiovascular health?  Nowadays, we see that individuals die due to cardiovascular health ( heart attack, stroke ) at a very young age. Is it because they are pessimistic about their health conditions?  Do cardiovascular health problems occur from a very young age?   The survey conducted provides a valid reason for the findings. The optimistic individuals were mentally and emotionally strong, while the pessimistic individuals had low confidence, put themselves down, and were emotionally and mentally weak (Study Suggests Correlation Between Heart Health and Optimism). The study shows the correlation between physical health and mental and emotional conditions.    Part 2: I have selected the article " The association between viral infections and glioma risk ." Neha Mathur wrote this article in BMC Medicine (Mathur, 2023).  In this article, researchers have proved a causal relationship between viral infection and glioma. The main aim of the study is to determine what causes glioma. For this, researchers focused on 12 viruses and their causal association with different glioma diseases. They used various approaches and concluded that herpes zoster, which is caused by VZV infections, has the probability of reducing the risk of glioma (Mathur, 2023). Based on the findings, I would like to ask the author three questions :  What underlying processes could account for the different causal relationships between glioblastoma (GBM) and herpes zoster as opposed to lower-grade glioma (LGG)? Considering the intricate relationships between many viruses and glioma subtypes, how can you be sure that irrelevant variables or reverse causality aren't influencing the reported results? The study states that additional investigation must confirm the causal relationship between glioma and varicella zoster virus (VZV) infection. Which areas or elements would you suggest looking into to understand this causation better?  I would accept the findings as valid since they are statistically proven and need further investigation to determine the relationship.    URL Link : https://www.usnews.com/news/newsgram/articles/2015/01/12/study-suggests-correlation-between-heart-health-and-optimism https://www.news-medical.net/news/20231207/The-association-between-viral-infections-and-glioma-risk.aspx   References Study Suggests Correlation Between Heart Health and Optimism.
