Assignment 2 Miroslav Majernik Walden University RSCH - 8210P Professor Miyoung LeeSeptember 8th, 2023 I am using Afrobarometer Dataset. I have first found the frequency distribution table for employment status. 8,604 individuals in the dataset are categorized as unemployed, representing 66.5% of the valid responses. 4,270 individuals in the dataset are categorized as employed, representing 33.0% of the correct responses.59 individuals (0.5% of the total responses) with missing data are classified under "System." These responses are not included in the calculation of employment status percentages ( Dietz & Kalof, 2009). Now, I have found the statistic of "ADULTCT," which represents the number of adults in a household. The statistics also seem to be segmented by "Employment Status." There are 12,893 valid responses for the variable "ADULTCT." This means that 12,893 households provided information regarding the number of adults in their household. Here are 40 missing responses for the variable "ADULTCT." This indicates that 40 households needed to provide information about the number of adults in their household ( Dietz & Kalof, 2009). Later, while graphing a simple bar of the number of adults in the household by employment status, I can observe that employed status is greater than unemployed, meaning that several adults are employed.
