It is one of the most common and straightforward ways to display data visually, making it easier to understand and interpret ( Frankfort et al., 2020). In the context of the General social survey data set, I have provided a simple bar Mean of Age of Respondents by Does R or spouse belong to Union. The simple bar graph is good for displaying the data because "Does R or spouse belong to Union" uses a categorical variable in the x-axis and the mean age of respondent variable in the Y-axis ( Frankfort et al., 2020). Here, we use nominal variables because the categories are not in order. I can analyze the Mean Age of Respondents by different categories from the graph. The mean Age of Respondents is 47.10. "R and Spouse belong" has a mean age of above 50; the rest are below 50, approximately 47.10. It was difficult for me to find the frequencies of each category from the graph.
