Answer Below:

The report "A majority of Americans have a friend of a different religion (Leppert, 2023)" says that most people in a friend’s group are from different religions. It is rare for Americans to find friends of the same religion. According to a survey by the Pew Research Center, it is seen that 37% of U.S. adults have almost friends with the same religions, and 61% of U.S. adults have some or most minor or no friends with the same religions (Leppert, 2023). The question addressed in the report is the distribution of American friendships concerning religious similarities or differences. The measurement variables comprise the religious beliefs of adults in the United States and the religious backgrounds of their friends. Ordinal and categorical data are included in the measurement level. Categorical data is used as religious affiliation such as Protestant, Evangelical, Mainline, Historically Black Protestant, Catholic, White Catholic, Hispanic Catholic, and Religiously unaffiliated (Leppert, 2023). Ordinal data measures the frequency of friends with the same or different religion.    Link: https://pewrsr.ch/4asZzGL     References Leppert, R.
