TCP/IP is considered the family of the internet protocol that helps in conveying the protocol information with greater reliability. The protocol headers are effectively utilised to convey the desired information towards their peer communication. The information is transferred at a particular layer concerning the reference model for the desired protocol and this represents the actual way of work processes. Moreover, it needs to be understood that each of the protocols is desired to work in only one single layer. Also, each of the protocol understands that which are a layer below it means which services are under it. This makes it more interesting since the execution of the tasks is done in good coordination of the concerned layers one after the other. The proper order that was elaborated through the learnings included TCP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP including various other protocols which are seen to utilize TCP. Also, on the other hand, most of the time these applications are witnessed to utilise one or the other. Also, the use of the intermediate systems is interesting since they are engaged in forwarding the packets by identifying the IP addresses. These intermediate systems include routers, bridges etc. and these play a vital role in conveying the information from the correct path. The utilization of stable identifiers provides crucial advantages such as it helps in uniquely identifying the network addresses irrespective of the physical location of the computer. This seems to be more interesting since this is the actual reason why these stable identifiers are utilised for authentication as well as for authorization.
