Hello Class! A leadership style is nothing but a leader's personality in encouraging, managing, and guiding followers or a group of people. Autocratic, authoritative, democratic, and affiliative leadership. In Autocratic leadership, the leader has power over others. Hitler can be a good example for this leadership who ruled as per his ideas, decisions, and opinions. In authoritative leadership, a leader sets the goals and policies which could be from the ideas of teams or not. This can be usually seen in management. Democratic leadership is a shared leadership where the group members are involved in decision-making more than the leader. Resources says that the CEO of PepsiCo takes interest in understanding employees which is an example of democratic leadership. Lastly, in the affiliative leadership style, the person with a leader's personality helps others within the work environment voluntarily. Dalai Lama was a famous leader and is a better example for this leadership who motivated and helped others to grow.
