Question.4064 - Discussion Board Twelve: Help Board This week's discussion I am calling a help board. I like to use these help boards because students have worked well in them in the past and really like them. Post about something that either seems tough to understand and/or something that was particularly helpful you did to do this week's reading or assignment. Here is where you want to ask questions of each other if you have any. Your post must still be around 75 words, and you need to respond to at least two other people. I will be grading your responses. If you find that you are all wondering about something and want to verify your conclusions with me, then email me and ask me to look at the thread. Make sure to cite and reference your sources using a standard reference and citation style.
Answer Below:
I had some trouble understanding Levene's Test this week and how it helps determine whether the variances in an ANOVA are similar across groups. Levene's Test determines whether the data's variability or dispersion is comparable across all groups under comparison. ANOVA can be used if the Test's p-value is greater than 0.05, which shows that the variances are equal. A different test may be required if the p-value is less than 0.05, which indicates that the variances are not comparable (Babbie, Wagner, & Zaino, 2022). Reviewing the test findings and practicing reading them helped me better grasp when to use an ANOVA. References Babbie, E., Wagner, W. E., III, & Zaino, J. (2022).
