On the other hand, FirstCall, Inc. (2017) report has mentioned that executive protection professionals are different from other officers as they are the security professionals who keep watch over the safety of their clients to ensure early identification of threats and protection from any potential danger situation. Moreover, executive protection professionals are generally hired by high-profile people or people vulnerable because of their status such as political figures, celebrities, high-worth athletes, and so on to take necessary steps for safeguarding their lives. On the contrary, Morison (2017) mentioned that law enforcement officers such as police (for example deputies, and constables), and court officers are governmental employees and thus are appointed by the government.
