Question.4523 - Annotated BibliographyDetailsAn annotated bibliography is a summary of key take aways from articles you read. There are many acceptable formats - as long as the citation information (author, year, title, journal, and ideally DOI) are included any format is acceptable for this assignment. We are completing annotated bibliographies to (1) allow you to pursue your own area of specialized interest within the field of animal cognition and (2) to help support the process of reading scientific literature for deeper meaning. Each week, you will select and read one extra peer reviewed journal article of your own choosing each week of the course and add it to your annotated bibliography. You will also read and annotate the assigned articles (generally 2) each week for a total of 14 assigned articles and 6 selected articles read and annotated over the course and due on or before Thursday, July 3 (so you can all enjoy your holiday;). In graduate school there is a 'hidden curriculum' of skills and the way we read papers to extract information is one of those skills. I suggest using a database file like microsoft excell but many people us a running word document and simply add their annotation and search key terms when they need to retrieve things they have read.
